I {heart} butterflies

I made this little card this evening for The Shabby Tea Room challenge #59 - Butterfly Wishes.

How could I resist, I {heart} butterflies.

These gorgeous butterflies can be found here and I even managed a 'wishes' rub-on sentiment from 7Gypsies.

Think I'll have to go and create another one or two for this challenge :)

Supplies used:

Cardstock - Girl's Paperie Kitch paper
Image - Butterflies by Jason Jones
Ribbon - Forsythia seam binding from
the ribbon reel
Other - Rub-on from 7Gypsies, paper flower

A little thank you

I've been waiting to use these cute little images from Pink Petticoat for a while. Then I received my latest Taylored Expressions March Ingredient Kit which had the tinest cutest wooden reels and knew they would go perfectly with the sewing machine image.

The image has been coloured with pastel pink and pastel green promakers with the added aqua blue twine from the ribbon reel as the thread and finished with a pearl pink brad.

This card also ties in with The Shabby Tea Room's challenge #58 'How Egg-cellent', to make a card using the photo provided for inspiration, pastels and stripes!

Supplies used:
Cardstock - Quirky Twerp
Images/Sentiment - Pink Petticoat Material Girl
Ribbon - Cameo Beige seam binding, cotton candy pink and aqua blue bakers twine from the ribbon reel
Other - Paper doily, pink pearl brad, mini wooden reels and wooden button from TE Kit. Promarkers, Distress Ink Tattered Rose

Love makes a house a home....

I started making this card for a blog challenge and then realised it was using the wrong colour palette so decided to add this to my stock pile of cards instead. I'm quite happy with the colours used, as I usually like to stick to the same shade of colours on a card.

A New Banner

So what do you think about the new banner? I fancied a change and have spent the evening playing around. I'm quite happy with it, its bright and fun! I've used elements from all over, mostly from A Work In Progress and fonts from Two Peas. TFL!

Color Combo Challenge #186

This is one of the gorgeous stamps that arrived today from Little Musings. I adore these cute little angels. This angel is named Lailah and I knew this would make a sweet little card to give to as a Mothers Day card to my mum!

The colour challenge this week at Color Combos Galore #186 was ideal with its muted colours plus my favourite, teal, to add a splash of colour for this card.

Supplies used: Card/Paper - Basic Grey Kraft, MME Lush, AWIP {Love Letters} Stamp - Little Musings Lailah Ribbon - Silky Crush Teal from the ribbon reel Other - Basic Grey chipboard heart, Melissa Frances rub ons, Doodlebug Mini rub ons, paper doily TFL!
